6.8. Reality Check (Casino only)
As a long-established and responsible operator, we remain devoted to our commitment to responsible gambling. If you're concerned about the amount of time or money you're spending in our Casino, you can make use of ‘Reality Check’ pop-ups, which alert you and keep you aware of the time you've been spending gambling in our Casino.
The Reality Check facility allows you to set a timed alert to warn you of the amount of time you've spent gaming. By default, the Reality Check pop-up will appear after one hour, but you can change the time frame or disable the Reality Check pop-up entirely. The Reality Check will alert you to the amount of time you've spent gambling and allow you to either stop or continue your gambling session. It also allows you to view your Casino Bet History and change the time frame of the Reality Check alert.
You can change the settings of your Reality Check under your Player Account settings, which are located under the Player Protection Tab. Here, you can change the timeout duration of the Reality Check or disable it entirely.
Marathonbet slot games display a Reality Check Timer (the ‘Timer’). The Timer can be amended to suit your preferences; however, for some game providers, in particular iSoftBet, there will be a Timer within the game itself. Whilst playing the game, the Timer can be changed or closed. The Timer will not influence other games provided by different game providers. General Timer settings can be changed under your Player Account settings, which are located under the Player Protection tab.
If you still have concerns about your gambling activity, you might want to consider additional player protection measures, such as setting Deposit and Loss Limits. See the Responsible Gambling section of our Help pages for more information.
